DEDALUS develops user-centred solutions for smarter residential demand response.
The DEDALUS project combines advanced ICT solutions with social and behavioural perspectives, alongside sharing-economy approaches and value-stacking governance and business models.
Its overarching goal is to deploy a social, technological, and business framework that:
- supports and scales up residential consumers’ participation in demand response;
- addresses a variety of mono-carrier and multi-carrier scenarios across buildings and districts;
- strengthens social interaction and collaboration within energy communities.
Design socio-economic enablers to drive residential energy consumers to engage in demand response.
Implement a data-driven stack of technology enablers for smart-load residential appliances into flexible ones ready for demand response.
