Brussels (Belgium)

The DEDALUS project will take part in the final event of the InEExS project — “Please Look Up! Efficient, Resilient, Fair and Smart – What Does Our Energy and Climate Future Look Like?” — organised by the Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP). The conference will be held in Brussels on 15–16 October 2025.

The event  will bring together experts, policymakers, researchers, and innovators to reflect on what our energy and climate future should look like – efficient, resilient, fair, and smart. It will serve as a closing event for several LIFE projects, showcasing concrete results, success stories, and forward-looking strategies for a just and inclusive energy transition.

The event at a glance

Over two days, participants will explore key dimensions of Europe’s energy transition, including:

  • Business cases for smart energy services
  • Energy efficiency and demand response as active resources
  • Renovation strategies tackling energy poverty
  • Policy measures to bridge the gap towards 2030 targets

The conference will combine policy dialogues, technical discussions, and cross-project sessions, encouraging peer learning and collaboration across EU-funded initiatives.

DEDALUS contribution

DEDALUS will contribute to the “Smart Energy Cluster: the Power of Collaboration” panel, taking place on the afternoon of 15 October.

During the session, Elissaios Sarmas – as a representative of DEDALUS, will share insights and lessons learned from its pilot cases, showcasing how data-driven demand-response models can enhance the resilience of social housing and empower residents as active players in the energy transition.

Moderated by Katerina Papapostolou, the panel will gather representatives from InEExS, EnPower, Datawise, BlueBird, and other cluster projects to exchange experiences, identify replication opportunities, and explore the collective impact of collaborative innovation in the smart energy domain.
