Panel Concept

Long-duration and large-scale energy storage technologies are pivotal in advancing sustainable energy systems by addressing the intermittency of renewable energy sources and enhancing grid stability. The upcoming workshop will bring together leading research and innovation (R&I) sister projects—Air4NRG, SEHRENE, SCO2OP-TES, and STORE2HYDRO—alongside the BRIDGE Consumer and Citizen Engagements Working Group Chair, Michael Brenner-Fliesser.

The panel will feature a mutual learning and exchange session, highlighting the work carried out by each participating project on social acceptability and stakeholder engagement. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic discussions, provide feedback, and pose questions to the speakers.

By facilitating this exchange among the four projects and sharing valuable insights, the workshop aims to foster collaboration and enhance the acceptability of innovative energy storage technologies.
