In July 2024, Dedalus participated in the 4th International Workshop on Data Analytics in the Energy sector organized in the field of IISA 2024.
The workshop was focused on highlighting applications and cases that make use of data and appropriate techniques for the decision support of energy stakeholders, such as network operators, utilities, energy suppliers, building managers, investors and financiers, local and regional authorities, policymakers towards energy efficiency goals, through the use of the latest technology.
The topic of interest were:
This Workshop was also based on the research activities of the DigiBUILD, DEDALUS, ENPOWER, Crete Valley, Hedge-IoT, METABUILD, BuildON and ENERGATE.
On the occasion of this workshop, the Dedalus partners Engineering SpA, CARTIF and Marche Polytechnic University released the scientific paper “Methodological approach for optimizing demand response in building energy management through AI-enhanced comfort-based flexibility models”, available here for download.
Finally, during a session, a representative of CARTIF gave a presentation focusing on the pathways capable of enabling interoperability and data sharing in demand response services, bringing forward our project as an example.
