Fellow project , TwinEU, has launched its webinar series with TwInsider Session #1, focusing on the opportunities and challenges of deploying digital twins in the electricity system.
The event has featured experts from the European Commission, ENTSO-E, DSO Entity, and innovative projects such as DEDALUS, contributing to discussions on:
DEDALUS’ Contribution
DEDALUS has participated with insights on energy demand management and grid flexibility. The project leverages digital twins to analyze and optimize energy demand management at both residential and district levels, develops AI-driven tools to encourage consumer participation, enhances data protection and interoperability through blockchain and data spaces, and supports flexibility management in energy communities and district heating systems.
These solutions will be tested in seven European countries, with five pilot projects and two large-scale replicators (multipliers).
“Unity creates strength”.
This principle, applicable to every area of our life, is well understood by the Dedalus, BuildOn, DigiBUILD, PROBONO, and TwinEU projects, which have joined forces to promote an energy-efficient and sustainable building sector in Europe.
These four projects will organize joint events and communication campaigns, and mutually promote each other’s results and achievements. The aim is to create a stronger impact on society and facilitate the uptake of the project findings and innovations.
Dedalus, BuildOn, DigiBUILD, PROBONO, and TwinEU are funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under these number of grant agreements, respectively: 101103998, 101069658, 101069658, 101037075, and 101007319.
